BENEFICIARIES

One main beneficiary is the Early Intervention for Psychosis Service (EIS) which aims to promote recovery and social inclusion of young people in the early stages of psychosis.  Our donation will help fund access to an indoor sports hall for their football group which is run throughout the summer in Maidstone.   It will also support a range of individual activities which a young person might not otherwise be able to undertake eg. visits to art galleries, museums, ski centres etc.

The other main recipient is the Tunbridge Wells Mental Health Resource Centre which is a day centre for people who have or are recovering from mental health problems.  They are using our financial support to help them progress projects including a structured weekend and an evening opening to ensure wider use of their Resource Centre.

We are giving a smaller donation to The Fifth Trust which supports adults with learning difficulties.  They are using the monies to construct a garden as well as to clean and restock a pond.  The charities Spadework and Canterbury Oast Trust (Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch) are also beneficiaries.
